It turns out that I had one spare for my car (silver stripe), and two blue code for Tim.
The other four are 21a2008. I think they are supposed to be green code. 64 to 69 Mini and Mini Cooper (not Cooper S).
If anyone can use them let me know.

I've got seven of these in my garage. Found that two have a blue swatch, and one has red. I haven't found any paint on the other four.
From what I have read my car should have silver installed. I haven't verified the installed displacers yet.
I'm planning on pressure checking the lot to see which need work.

There is or was a stripe painted on the displacer housing near the top, hose end.  There is also often a dab or blotch of paint inside the top cup, painted on the rubberized surface.  So, two places to look for in determining which you have.  Some bags had one stripe, some had two. 

I have read that the displacers have a color code. Could someone tell me where to look for that code?

I think I paid more than that for mine (original Churchill pump), and it needed work/restoration!

Really though, if anybody thinks $330 is too much to pay for a large specialty factory-made tool for an obscure 50-year-old suspension system on a relatively rare classic car, then they're in the wrong hobby. I can't imagine anybody owning a hydrolastic car that wouldn't want a  Churchill pump for general maintenance..

I just removed the head from the hard line coming off the grease gun, clamped a high pressure hose to the exposed threads, then push the hose over the valve on the mini and clamp it. The pressure built up in the tube opens the valve on the mini and in turn pumps up the car (when on jack stands). Not additional fittings needed. Be sure the hose is long enough so you can hold the grease gun vertically. I'm also sure to have the mixture in arms length before I start so I can just fill it and monitor it when pumping.

I've done it too many times to my car. It's easy to do. I tried the fittings and connectors but nothing was as successful and leak proof as what's mentioned above.

my buddy made it  from a grease gun and a resevoir pancake gas can.  He dropped it off with a few plastic totes  a few months before he passed.  I can dig it out and take a pic. You can reverse engineer it. 

Something like 27 years ago I made one using the compressor from a small refrigerator but can't find it or pieces of it around.  How did you make yours? 

I"m on the east end of LI and think there's someone closer but if not, I have a home made pump. It will not evacuate the system but will pump it up.

There was a genuine factory one on eBay a week ago that didn't sell.Maybe it will come back on? mind you it failed to sell at $330 so it sounds like he wants too much for it.............

I had posted a topic regarding the need of replacement Hydrolastic displacers and received some great help from the board in showing me where to go. Ultimately, Minisports from Australia was able tonsupply me with some great Displacers.

Now for my next phase I need some help with a Hydrolastic pump. Would love to buy a quality used one or have someone locally that could help. I am in New Jersey and would love some advice on this.
