Cool, thanks. Ill assume ill either keep in my stash for a future project or sell locally. Briefly reading the US regulations on importation of car parts put me off straight away! Thanks.

There would be interest but shipping would probably kill the deal. Also depending on which a/c set up you have and as your car is an spi the wiring to engage the compressor and raise the idle up when the a/c is on is done through the computer in the main harness so you will not have the wiring harness to sell with the set up as you still need it to make the car run.
I have seen them sell as low as $250 and as high as $800 depending on the set up.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Good Afternoon / Morning all.

Just testing the waters for this. I live in New Zealand and am looking at the purchase of a 1993 SPi mini which is fitted with AC. If I purchase I will most probably remove this as the car will be the basis for further modification and we don't really need AC that much down here. The internal portion of it appears to be fitted below the dash, not incorporated within it. Keen to understand:

Is there interest in this system complete?
What is it worth?
Would anybody bother with the hassle of importing it complete to the US? I would just clean it, package it up and send it. Importing paperwork would need to be completed by the purchaser.

Ive see old posts where people have been interested in the setup, but don't know if this interest has been superceeded by an aftermarket system.
