this is where a dremel tool with a cut off abrasive disc comes in handy.
Since you are not going to put these corroded nuts back on, I suggest cutting them off as a time saver.

If they are jammed on (corroded threads) cut a corner off the nut, then it will undo with a crescent wrench.

In addition to Terry's advice, it should go without saying that you should flood the large nuts with penetrating oil (not WD-40) and let it soak for a while before trying to loosen things. Those nuts are often fused in place with lots of corrosion on the threads.

You should be able to carefully get a vice grip on it. there may be wiring running close to it.
The bushes may make it difficult, but you could squeeze one of them to grab that part of the wiper box.

After removing the wiper arms, it should be a simple matter of unscrewing the large nuts on the wiper stalks and sliding the whole assembly out. However, the large nuts simply spin with their threaded counterparts spinning also.
Is there a way to access the stalks from the underside to hold them tight so the large nuts can be removed?
