Steve, did you ever find the HeliCoil kit again?  I remember you saying it went missing.  

I had made a "truing" guild bolt to add to your kit.  It was an extra long 5/8-11 bolt with a guide rod welded to it.  The idea was to thread that into whatever threads were left in the sump, then mount your brackets, mark the bracket positions with tape, remove and refit in the same orientation with either the drill bit or tap.  When I tried this on the guy from Cary's sump it worked very well.

They make a helicoil kit for that. It is easy to use if you can get everything in a milling machine. I made brackets to clamp to sub frame to try and drill and tap straight. Tried it once ended up under there for awhile with a file aligning the face with the new threads. It worked and did not leak but I don't plan to do it again. Steve (CTR)

What is the thread size for the sump drain plug?  5/8 UNC is rattling around in my brain.
