It should be noted that switching to a manual is not straightforward, and you should ask for more info on how to do it if that is your plan. Including the spacers for the sub-frame.
But as noted, what is wrong with the current transmission? Might just need the right oil, or band adjustment. All parts are available in the UK. If you need Auto Transmission parts, contact: [email protected]
He rebuilds them and manufactures certain parts (like the pressure plates).

Once again a poster with no info in their profile. I'm currently converting my second and third Jap. spec mini from auto to std. I have two 998 autos and one 1275 auto with park. I have driven them all and the autos work. All three are for sale as complete or nearly complete power units. One 998 is out and one 998 and one 1275 are now in position for removal. The 1275 engine smoked badly but shifted fine, it is a SPI unit. The injection and AC will be staying but the balance can be bought. The 998 is AC auto also and the AC will be removed complete and offered for sale as well. I also have several auto sub frames ready for powder coating or sale as is.
If I can't sell these I will take one apart and see if I can put it back together and make it work. Steve (CTR)

I have two 998cc engines and trannys left. BUT think the 94 spi had crank sensor?? might contact Cooper Tune Racing or BJ at www.gofastminis.com I think you have to buy engine and tranny.here in the USA you might . find one in the UK on www.ebay.co.uk Might be about as cheap to just rebuild yours.. Cooper tune racing can do this. later bc

Anyone know of a place to buy classic mini transmissions? I have a 94 right hand drive auto 1.3 with fuel injection from japan and need a new tranny.
