Thanks minimans... Seller Brian told me he's going ahead with the sale for "other life reasons" as well.... We all have some of those to deal with!
I wonder if anyone near Michigan would let me keep it there for a little while.... till I can arrange to get it...

Could be a bargain, but tell him stopping the Auction does nothing to harm your rating as in ZERO! Just cancel any bids made and relist with reserve.
Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

Got a call from a long time customer that I've helped with Classic Minis and a Few Morris Minors over the years... He has a '51 split window model up on ebay that got posted with no reserve..... A GREAT value for someone! Lots of work done, has a 1275 and Ribcase, lots of $$ in chrome and parts (as in $2k+ according to Brian who's selling it). He told me a glitch caused it to go up with no reserve, and that changing that after posting is very bad for his ebay rating....
Last I looked, it's up to $765 !! We have to pay more for a 1275 CORE engine these days! This could be the start of a beautiful friendship for someone....
