My suggestion would be to leave the stock one on there! the cold air intakes provide marginal benifit at best when new and if the filters are not kept clean will degrade performance.................Unless you just want the noise?
Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

Hi Greenbird555,
Intake upgrades typically add about 3-5 hp, mostly near redline where the added intake flow becomes effective. On a car with 170-180 stock hp, that is a very small percentage.
The 2 or so hp difference between intakes would be very difficult to notice once installed on the car and can be very subjective when
Having said that, my point is - it is very difficult to say which intake is the 'best' intake. You will get different responses depending on who to talk to.
My suggestion is to select the best intake for you based on brand, pricing, and 'looks'.
Ken
edit: Important point - make sure the intake is CARB approved since you are in Ca, otherwise you won't pass smog!

Yes, covers MINIs as well as Minis, and it's likely you'll get a response tomorrow from Ken at Mini Mania, a person who knows MINIs very well.

Well, not ALL classics, there are people here who have MINIs and know a bit. But BC is correct - NAM is a FAR better place to ask for help with MINIs.

Hi Everyone,
I am just wondering what is the best current intake, cold-air intake to gain the max HP for my Mini Cooper Paceman S 2015?
I'm open to all suggestions and I'm in SF, CA so there many shops to choose from and they all have their connections in terms of parts, OEMs, etcetera, etcetera.
Please comment on what you have done for your Mini and add links below so I can view sites and possibly make a purchase.
