I had a set on my 59 mini back around 1980, they were a good set up, very grippy but didn't last long and I never got a puncture to try them out!

Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

That is correct but they were but ass ugly steelies and not many survived due to the high replacement costs.

Just read that the first car to offer run flat tires, Dunlop Denovo, was the 1974 mini, and other British Leyland offerings that year.
