I happened to stop by the machine shop today, a non-descript building at an undisclosed location.
I quickly noticed on the work bench not one but two A series short blocks being assembled of which the components looked very familiar. I also knew that these were not the norm in off the shelf race components.
I pretty much knew who owned them (not mine) and quickly surmised that they were being prepared for the upcoming Mini Challenge Race. It was not acknowledged or confirmed this observation.
It sounds like that for this event, many have stepped up their game.
