I hope he's got a heated workshop, I don't and i'm rushing to get my mini prepped for 5 months of winter here in Regina.
Spitz, feel free to give the guy my contact information..
I've rounded up three mini owners in Regina thus far and we have a neat thing going

if everything seems under control,. then you're not going fast enough

Good!!  this is what i've been telling people, don't experiment, if you decide to enter the world of classic minis, right away get a mini shell or any beat up mini and throw in a VTEC engine in it, don't be like me who bought a 998 and eventually desired the itch for more ooomph! now after i spent money reviving my mini, buying boots, shocks, suspension, now i have to trash them because i am now going to the vtec or toyota 16V route, should've done it long time ago....AND, i'll never never buy a dark green NON running 1275 mini for $6k...just to give me headache......gosh,,,aaaanyway!hehehe

Having spent a winter next door at Regina, I know that he will NOT be doing much outside work until at least spring.
