Thanks for that website.  That's what I wanted to see, actual installations.  Thanks

You could try this!

I think they look terrible, but that's a matter of personal choice, really.

Or you could go through the ass pain of making your own headlights via retrofit. I've done 4 sets now. It's not exactly "easy"... But you could certainly try.

Here's a link to my full retrofit of projectors. This was my first set on the mini. It's not a how-to, but you get the idea of how big of a pain it is. You'd have to find a way to do the halo's while the housing is open. And LED drivers for the rings, and a mounting location and switching source/relay setup.

I don't understand why the cheapo ones need that weird dangling heat sink thingy.

The Truck-Lite ones look like they would just drop right in without any drama. I've been looking at these for a couple of years, just waiting to have more money than I need.

You can check any online aftermarket site. Personally, I would recommend 4wheelonline, that's where I bought my fender flares

I checked at the local AutoZone but he didn't have anything like that I could look at.  I'd like to have one to look closely at before I buy.

If you search for the 7 inch Harley or Jeep lights you will find a lot of options.  I can't verify they fit nice and easy, but I am guessing they should??

It sounds like you're thinking about angel eye type headlights which were available (no idea where!) for classic Minis. You could probably get some sort of projector led type headlights too.

.
