the pressure plate is Much thinner on the N14 S, because the disc is very thin, contact surface is thickest section except for the spline center. The flywheel -pressure plate assy's are very close in size so i didn't measure them critically. tomorrow i am disassembling and will critically measure both sets, N12 nonS and N14 S.

Say a Cooper S N14 228mm dual mass with unsprung clutch disc? I thought so, all fits but engine wont turn over after i tightened the trans to engine. Don't think its the Clutch is pushed against the flywheel, but maybe. I can feel the pressure plate disengageing the clutch.
Also if i spin one axle with trans in neutral, the other axle spins the same direction. flywheel bolts are the proper torxs 9x25mm
thanks for any help
this car is far more complicated than my old 944 Porsche turbo
