The 309 is listed as an early Cooper intake.  It is correct for HS2 ( 1.25" ) carbs....and H4 if the throat is 1.5"

Wow....this thread has LOTS of views

The C-AEG 488 will work and is new. It also comes in a twin 1 1/2 SU layout. I recently had two of the 1 1/2 ones welded up along the lower edge of the mounting flange. When using with a competition manifold gasket they develope a vacuum leak in that area. I believe those are C-AEG 489. The only 1 1/4 intakes I have are the 1071 ones. And no they are not for sale. I have a 1071 and I have two blocks and cranks as well as the intakes. Steve (CTR)

Looking for a 997 cooper intake manifold, or at least something that will work, all I have are the 20 degree intakes from the MG1100...

Thanks!

Lots of pictures of non-standard inlets. Should have a thread of it´s own.

While looking for an intake for a friend I found one with a number I had not seen. I wrote it down and left the info at work. It's been opened up for a race ported head and larger carbs. It is an inline stud design. I'll get the number and post it maybe someone knows more about it. Steve (CTR)

Hey Hippy!

No, I don't know it's origins.  But I believe Kevin G is right and it is a 20 degree manifold, and thus is non Mini.  Might be good for parts and pieces on a mini, but the manifold guarantees it's going to interfere with the bulkhead.

Save it for trades maybe?  By the way, does the tag show L and R anywhere?

Best, MSH

for theminimark

Did you find out what the 12G 242 manifold came off?

I have one with the same casting numbers and two 1/14 su carbs on with the numbers AUD 691 on a tag attached.

Looked them up on SU web site but nada.

If the carb angle is 20°, it's definitely off a Sprite/Midget, not any east/west motor (they are all 30°.
