As the hole elongates with use- the adjustment range is decreased to the point where the clutch will no longer disengage. Replace this as one of your first clutch maintenance items! Get the adjustable instead
Your life will be so much better with the C-13H396 adjustable pushrod instead. I got som crap from the purists on the forum, but adjustability should have been built into this part. I am sure it was left out to keep the price point of the car down.
