When your turn signals don't work it can only be a few different items: switch, bulb or most often the 'flasher relay'. The silver round cannister is typically located in the engine bay. The switch sends voltage to the relay and it in turn modulates it off and on while sending it to the bulb. Most relays make an audible click while operating. They are so easy to replace there is no reason to ever not have them operating! This model of the flasher uses the push-on connectors.

Question:
I have a 1979 Mini Clubman, I need to rest the front suspension control arms and bushings and tie rods. Also my blinkers stopped working is there a relay?
Answer:
Not sure what type of turn signal flasher you have but there's one here: https://www.minimania.com/part/GFU2103/Classic-Mini-Turn-Signal-Flasher-Unit-3-Prong-Mk1-And-Mk11

Here's the tie rods: https://www.minimania.com/part/21A450/Classic-Mini-Cooper-Tie-Rod-Standard-Type

Here's just the tie rod bush: https://www.minimania.com/part/31G1155/Classic-Mini-Tie-Rod-End-Bushing

Question:
I recently installed a used MK1 classic turn signal switch with green lens. The exterior lights flash properly but the green light at the tip of the stalk does not light. 1. Should the green indicator light blink at the same time as the exterior lights? 2. Or is it powered separately from the exterior lights? (I know the tiny bulb inside the lens of good.) 3. Or can it be a problem with the GU2103 flasher ?
Answer:
Not sure, whichever lead goes to the bulb is likely not making good contact. If the markers are blinking I doubt it's the flasher.

Question:
The turn signal is not working. I check the fuse and everything is good. I believe its the flasher relay Do you know what flasher relay I need to buy? I had a 1993 mini rover Mayfair automatic, and i'll appreciate it if you can tell me the exact location in my mini and I can replace it
Answer:
Is your car fuel injected? Then likely it's this relay: https://www.minimania.com/part/YWB10012/Classic-Mini-Relay---Multiple-Use-oenon-Returnable

If a carb model, it's likely it's this one: https://www.minimania.com/part/GFU2125/Classic-Mini-Indicator-Flasher-Relay-Unit-1969-1992

Check under the dash for the relays.
