Assembling the engine to gearbox (transmission) is explained and simplified in this article. Contrary to popular mis-guidance, all BBUs will fit all four-syncro gearboxes. Greetings from Switzerland.
I recently bought the oil seal from Minimania. The piece came rather quickly (delivery in 5 working days) and in perfect conditions..
However, while trying to place the oil seal on my Mini British Open I realised the item I bought (the one in question) is too big to fit the flange. I was then told that an additional part, an inner metal collar, should come with it.
Is this additional item for sale?
Can I find it on the website?
Thanks in advance.
