Classic Mini Cooper 'S' Brakes WITH a difference! At one time the only way to get the highly desirable Cooper 'S' disc brakes was to acquire a used set and then rebuild them. Nowadays a kit is available to convert any year or model Classic Mini to disc brakes. This kit includes every component necessary including uprights, bearings, ball joints, C.V. joints, rotors, drive flanges, calipers, etc. All new parts! Easy bolt-on installation. "With a difference" means that not only can you upgrade to "S" brakes but you can do one better! The "alloy" 4-pot caliper is supplied in place of the stock cast iron version. They have everything going for them; "lightweight" means better road holding, "4-pot" means better breaking, "Alloy" means they won't rust - what a deal! We recommend one of the Haynes manual if instructions are required, see # 527 or 646.
