Description
SC developed mappable engine management system for A-series 5 port engines. This system delivers all the power of a Weber DCOE carburettor but with the drivability and smoothness of full engine management. The system is simple to install and fits into a standard Mini with no body modifications. This is a cost effective upgrade and suitable for all engines from 850-1460cc. Kit Contents - SC Billet Shaft-less Throttle Body (45 or 50mm) - SC Billet Injector Adapter - High Flow Fuel Injectors - Stainless Steel Fuel Rail - High Flow Inlet Manifold - Throttle Linkage with Fast Idle Lever - High Flow Billet Ram Pipe - Bespoke Complete Wiring Loom - SC Typhoon Fully Mappable ECU - USB Interface Dongle & PC Software - Coolant & Air Temperature Sensors - SC A-Series Complete Crank Trigger Kit - Ignition Coil, Billet Bracket & HT Leads This kit is engine dynamometer proven to match a Weber DCOE for power and torque. Suitable for N/A and forced induction engines, 850 to 1460cc, 50 to 150bhp. Superb drivability and performance An optional bespoke SC branded ITG air filter and backplate is available that fits the kit without any body modifications

This kit will also work on 1275cc AH Sprites and MG Midgets: You would need to source  the high pressure fuel pump, though we do include the pressure regulator. On a rear drive application we find that clearance at the front is tight (for the trigger wheel and damper) and sometimes needs a small amount of relief to the cross member.

If done properly, converting your Mini to EFI can have many benefits. The EFI Engine Control Unit (ECU) can control all aspects of the combustion of the air/fuel ratio under all conditions. For each and every load point throughout the rev range that the engine may experience, the EFI ECU can calculate the optimum timing and delivery of fuel as well as precisely when ignition will take place by supplying spark at exactly the right time in order to maximise power and torque.
