The 3.2 ratio crown wheel and pinion was stock in later model cars with 12" wheels. These can be fitted to any Mini transmissions to decrease RPM at highway speeds while maintaining good accelleration. (stock ratio on most 1275cc with 10" wheels was the 3.44 ratio).
Some transmissions cases may need slight grinding for proper clearance.
