BATTERY CABLE FRONT TO REAR POSITIVE TO SOLENOID SALOON
This main cable runs the entire length of the car, underneath. Genuine Rover cables with a battery connector cap on the back and the solenoid connector at the front; for all sedans but early, floor starter models.

This battery lead front to rear is 127" long. Cars from 1985-1990 had a 134" lead and is AAU1089. Automatics had 131"long cable. Measure your old cable to see if this will fit because the later cars had it routed different along the floor.
