MINI & MINI COOPER FLYWHEEL BOLT WITH KEY HEAVY DUTY

The flywheel bolt and keyway are critical to keeping that very expensive crankshaft and flywheel working together. The stock bolt is often found to stretch under repeated use, especially when used in competition. Our new bolt is made from chrome alloy 43/40 heat treated steel with a 38/42 rockwell with 'rolled' not cut threads. Rolled threads are typically 20% stronger than cut threads due to cold working. It has been tested to 600 foot pounds with no problem. Our special set also includes the locating plate made of the same high quality material. The engagement ears on this piece should never fail! Both the bolt and the plate are pre-drilled for safety wire.For a Pre Verto clutch.
