VERTO CLUTCH ASSEMBLY w/o FLYWHEEL 1275CC CARB MINI COOPER

This is the complete verto clutch assembly for pre injected cars that have a pre engaged starter, 1275 Models with the 190mm wide clutch plate(Plus a few very late 998cc). This clutch can be used on any non injected car but if using on a car previously fitted with a 180mm wide plate the flwywheel surface must be perfect or the plate will judder and cause severe wear.
This 3 piece kit has an AP pressure plate with best clamping pressure and a Valeo 190mm plate--GCK151AF has same pressure but a 180mm AP plate. Technical Leaflet: This cover assembly is supplied without the hub with which it is attached to the end of the crankshaft. Once the clutch unit to be replaced has been removed from the vehicle the central hub should be removed from the cover assembly. Avoid damage to the hub flange and crank taper during operation. The hub should now be installed in the replacement assy. Locate the hub in the main cover pressing as shown in the illustration, ensuring that the location diameter is burr free, and, using the six new bolts provided, tighten them down in a diagonal pattern to a torque of 60 Nm. (44 ibft.)
