Question:
I have a 1961 Morris Mini Traveller. Are the rear brake plates different on the early Mini's? Also what bore brake cylinder did they use? This is an internal tank model if it makes a different.
Answer:
I believe those are 3/4" bore GWC1102 cylinders and the brake backplates are parts 21A1058/1060.

Question:
1967 Moke, what wheel cylinders is best for front and rear, are they 3/4 and what is the difference in the 5/8 and the 3/4 ,thanks
Answer:
Your Moke should have 15/16" cylinders on the front and 5/8 on the rear.

Twin leading shoe brakes use two cylinders per wheel.
Later twin-leading shoe cars (Mk II and later single line systems) were fitted with GWC104/105. The GWC104/105 cylinders are the 15/16" diameter style that will fit any and all models with 1 1/2" shoes; including the later split systems that also used GWC126/7. Make sure all four cylinders are the same internal diameter.
Note that early twin leading shoe Minis (Mk 1) used .80" front cylinders, GWC102/103 and different rear wheel cylinders.
Two wheel cylinders required on each side. Order two of these for the right side.
Used with GMC102 or GWC71 master cylinder and GWC1102 rear wheel cylinders for single line systems.
In diagonal split systems, used with GMC160 and GWC1126 or GWC1134; GMC167 and GWC1131 or GWC1102.
In front to rear split systems, used with GMC159 and GWC1102; GMC168 and GWC1129; GMC227 and GWC1102.
Mounting bolts not included. Requires one each HF0505 and 7H7250 & one each GHF331 and WL2051.

Question:
Does the GWC1102 wheel cylinder come with the retaining clip and backplate gasket?
Answer:
These cylinders do include the retaining clip but no gasket. AP doesn't even include these gaskets on their original cylinders so it's likely considered non-essential. part number 37H4642 if you would like to purchase it separately.

The other 4-way valve on the bulkhead on later cars (part number FAM7821) is frequently wrongly identified as one of the above as they are similar. However, this unit does not have the electrical connection, and has a cylinder sticking out one end. This IS a brake pressure regulator, only fitted to front/rear split systems as far as I'm aware. The PDWA is built into the master cylinders in these applications.
