Available for immediate shipment! The Mini Tec-B Series (MT-B Series) VTEC
Conversion Front Subframe is designed to convert any model of Classic Mini from
its original drive train to a number of Honda VTEC drive trains with ease of
installation and maintenance in mind. Honda VTEC engines are available from
175 bhp upwards and the performance figures are staggering, without compromising
your Mini's handling on the street.

Performance from 1.6 litre engine in Mini Saloon:
- 175 bhp or 195 bhp Honda VTEC
- 0 - 60 in 5.0 seconds
- Top speed 135 mph
- Road holding: 300ft Skid-pad =0.96g
- 30-40 Miles Per Gallon (although probably not at top speeds!)
Advantages of the MT-B Series Subframe
- Has the same wheel track width as a standard Mini and does not require rear
wheel spacers.
- Any quality Mini wheel can be used, 12" and larger recommended. No special
offset wheels needed.
- Uses standard Mini subframe tower mounts.
- Radiator sets lower, requiring no hood modifications and is more aesthetically
correct.
- Engine has been repositioned to give better fit, clearance and appearance.
- Allows use of standard Mini brake servo, standard Honda distributor and
ECU.
- Utilizes Mini steering and suspension components.
- Fully adjustable front ride height (rear optional).
- Adjustable caster, camber and toe.

The design requires the front wings to be extended approximately 4" by cutting
the external sheet-metal or using the one-piece
fibreglass flip front end, Item MT20000. The sub-frame mounts to standard
mounting locations on the Mini, fitting both early and late model bodies. Works
for both left- and right-hand drive Minis.

- Two suspension springs with customized perches
- Front transmission support with rubber stabilizer
- Two height adjustment bolts
- Two extended control arms
- Two customized Mini/Honda Axle shafts (please specify B16 or B18)

- Custom alternator bracket (please specify A/C or non-A/C)

Chassis Parts you will use from your Donor Mini: RH and LH Upper Arm Assemblies, RH and LH Uprights (8.4" disc brake type only), Both Outer C.V. Joints (Late Disc Brake Type only), Lower Arms and Tie Bars, and MK3+ Large top Sub-frame Mounting Bolts.
