WHEEL LUG NUT LATE COOPER WITH CAPTIVE 60 DEG WASHER
These later model wheel nuts (lugnuts) present a real challenge to those of us that like to keep our cars looking new. They were used extenviely by the factory on various wheels and while they are sure to be safe and easy to use, they don't seem to stay nice looking very long. The floating washer insures that they are tightened consistenly but the fancy looking metal cap on them keeps falling off! This cap was added to make the looks acceptable and indeed when it is lost, most of us want to replace them with new!
