Monitoring oil temperature can be as important as monitoring pressure. High oil temp can warn you of friction (causing engine wear) or that you need a better oil cooler. Besides, extra gauges just plain look cool! Use this sending unit with gauge BT2240-01C and an adapter plate RIC925 that bolts between the filter head and the block to accept the sender.
