DOUBLE BEARING HUB KIT COMPLETE - kit includes 2 hubs
Kit includes 2 hubs. For the ultimate in reliability, converting to a steel hub (stock is cast iron) and adding another wheel bearing is the answer. The double bearing adds better support for wide tires and adds to the support of the axle, greatly decreasing the chance of breaking even a stock axle. It is universally agreed that a double bearing rear hub is necessary on any racing Spridget. But not all are created equally. Our bearing hubs have been improved in that they feature a narrow circlip to locate the seal. This eliminates the frequent problem of the seal backing out causing an oil leak. Complete kit includes hubs, bearings, seals, circlips and o-rings to replace both rear hubs. For replacement bearings see XLS-1 3/4, for seal see CR17707.
