Hi Don, I wanted to thank you for getting the parts to M&G. I picked up the car on Saturday, and it looks magnificant. It handles, and sounds great.

I went to the Vintage Festival at Lime Rock Race track in Connecticut, on Monday. I was invited, by BMW, and the New Jersey Mini Owners Club, and had VIP accomodations. We had a whole Mini parking lot--VIP tent Food ect. The car received, tremendous, acclaim.

Probably the most fun was ruunning with a pack of 5 New Minis, including at least 2 "S" models,  going home from Lime Rock to the Taconic Parkway. I stayed with them, on the curvy back roads, and even led them all. Once we got to the parkway, we reached speeds of over 85 miles an hour. I was worried that it might be too much strain on my engine, running a long distance at this kind of speed  (close to 5000 rpm), so I backed off at this point, and they left me. It seems that the cruising speeds, on the New Mini are quiet high. Anyway it was very satisfying, and makes me want to really  try to get one of your 140 HP engines, and a  5 speed in the future. This should be a great equalizer. Have you worked on any of my questions, on this subject??
