| We are offering a beautiful 1983 Fiat Spider 2000 Convertible for sale. Looking for an Italian Exotic Convertible? Well look no further..Here's a hot little Fiat Spider 2000 convertible that was designed by 'PININFARINA'. Pininfarina was the person responsible for designing several vehicles, including many Ferrari's! The 1983-1985 Fiat Spider's are sought after because of there Rarity, Fuel Injection and Sports Car handling. The Fiat that we have brought to sale is a cut above the rest; Detailed Engine compartment, No Rust (or previous Rust), Beautiful color, etc. Powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission, a power-train that is known the world over to be as powerful as it is fuel efficient. With gas prices the high as they are, this is one "Hot" sports car that can save you a ton of money at the pump (30+ MPG). Exterior is in superb shape, having no body damage. Paint maintains a showroom quality luster and only minimal road wear. The Convertible top is also in superb shape, showing no significant signs of wear. All pictures were either just taken, or taken during the last 4 months. Any other pictures needed, just contact us by email, or give us a call 1-847-464-4000. This car was stripped/media blasted in 1997 and completely re-painted in this Dark Rosewood Clearcoat (Deep Burgundy color). Car was completely painted: door jambs, underside of the Bonnet & Boot (hood & trunk for us Americans), behind door panels, etc. Same owner since 1997, always kept in heated garage. Absolutely no rust (or prior rust!) on this rare convertible and only 85K original miles! Unfortunately, our Midwest Snow season has put a damper on our pictures. This is probably the first time this car has been in the Snow! It actually started snowing while we were taking these pictures. Have many pictures of chassis, floorpan, interior (with interior out), etc. Short list of New Parts (past 4 months) -Rebuilt engine, detailed engine & engine compartment. -All engine gaskets, oil pump, oil pan, sump guard, thermostat, water pump, timing belt & tensioner, spark plugs, spark plug wires, Distributor Cap & Rotor, Ignition Module & Pickup, Accy belt, all coolant hoses, O2 Sensor. -Rebuilt starter, new Battery, new Ground cable (from rear to front). -New; carpet, seat upholstery, Dynamat on floorpan, etc. -New; Yokohama Tires, rear brakes, rear KYB shocks. Car already had new front control arms. -New; clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, re-surfaced flywheel. This Fiat has a Alpine CD radio & Eclipse speakers in front. The Dash has 1 crack on top, good luck on finding one that is not. This car has been converted from power windows to manual windows. The power windows were a problem with all of the Spiders, always slow, or failing. Makes more sense to just reach to the other side. We have a full set of German made Bumperetts that are available. This would eliminate the large US bumpers and give it the Euro/sleek look. Winning bidder will have the option of purchasing these at a good price. We have many pictures taken during restoration, please give us a call for a private viewing. What else can you buy for well under $10K and still have a vintage Italian Convertible that gets 30+ MPG?? Will help with shipping arrangements. We also can deliver with-in 250 miles for a small fee.
