The recommended practice with stock components is to replace the rod nuts with every rebuild and the bolts every other. The ARP kit of rod bolts and nuts will be the last you'll ever buy! Why have to replace the stock bolts and nut everytime you rebuild your motor yet alne worry about if they will take the stress, this ARP kit is not only of higher quality but more economical! Torque to 42ft/lbs.
