Situation may be different but here since I live out in the country it is harder for me to get folks to come out of Dallas or Fort Worth for small jobbies due to gas prices. One company flat out came and told me that they'll call me if they happen to get other jobs in my area.

I thought it was bad in the USA to find folks to work on your house, Here it is beyond a joke, I have hired (and fired) 3 roofers to do easy work for cash on my house as they never started work. if a job starts bad (as in, not starting!) then I know its going to go bad.

I could go on an on, Even the MiNI dealership just 5crewed me about for the umpteenth time today.

My wood burning stove repair shop won't return my calls, I've called 5 times....I could go and on.

What recession, folks must have enough money to not have to work.

Sorry for the rant.
