Martin, Martin, Martin...the open fuel container was prepped for the upcoming refueling stop!

A few years ago I just about crashed my Jeep (laughing so hard) when a guy pulled out from a curb with all his camping gear wrapped up in clear plastic on the roof of his car and tied on with string...it promptly fell off (at very low speed).

The dumb and dumber will always be with us.

look at the picture again, the ones i showed are damn close to exactly the ones he is using, the same cheap straps you can find at any wallyworld

I am a big fan of station wagons too.  We've almost always had a station wagon, or SUV or hatchback with roof racks in the lineup here @ ve9aa

 

       ~ 30 minutes in a Mini is more therapeutic than 3 sessions @ the shrink. ~
