Welcome, B4BMW! Good name.
This event was actually in Andover, north of Boston. It has been in Woburn in the past. If you want to keep tabs on www.bostoncarsandcoffee.com for updates, I'm sure there will be more events over the summer.

Thanks guys, I'm doing my best to measure up to sideache.
I'm using a nikon d90, and there's no swing/tilt shifting going on, just a 50mm f/1.4 lens. Jacking open the aperture to 1.4 gives you that crazy short DOF. Fun!

Fun stuff - Great to see so much British stuff, especially in Boston

Definitely some narrow DOF work. I really dig that kinda stuff! Some of the tilt & shift stuff I've seen out there is really amazing. I've never played with one of those lenses...but I do like photographing buildings also, so maybe someday I'll get one. Whenever I'm shooting cars I have to fight the urge of my Germanic ancestors to make evrything centered, squared up, and precise. I find when I'm "screwin' around" I get my best shots sometimes. (edit) What kinda gear 'ya shootin with?

very neat shots. How did you get such a narrow field of focus? It looks like you used a tilt-shift lens on several of the shots. Photoshop aid, or did they actually come out that way.

VERY cool photos. I've always been a fan of the "parts of a whole" type shots. Love the black & gold pukin' chicken!
