BMW is reporting that new vehicle deliveries rose more than 8% in the first 2-months of 2000 to almost 170,000 vehicles, with Rover sales rising more than 2%. BMW Group-wide US deliveries surged 20% to 25,500 vehicles said chief executive, Joachim Milberg at the Geneva Motor show, adding that sales growth of more than 20% had also been reached in other markets. Deliveries of Rover brand cars rose to 29,500 units, while 25,000 Land Rover vehicles were delivered in January and February, a rise of seven percent over the same period last year.
