My Name is Lorrie and I live in Conway Arkansas. I became a first-time Mini owner just one month ago! I am a 50 year old mother of "4" ages 24, 22, 21 and 11. So over the past 11 years, I have transitioned from a full size van, that I had to drive, to this fabulous Mini Cooper S that I absolutely love. I have a blast driving her! I am not sure that I have settled on a name just yet... but for now I call her "Mrs. Marion" after my little spitfire "Mamaw" that absolutely adored.
I am just beginning down this road with my Mini... but expect a long happy life!!
I can't wait to learn more about clubs, accessories, and auto events and share experiences with other mini owners. Right now I would love a bike rack!!! and run flat tires!!! I am also submitting a video based on a joke that a friend of mine made about my mini!!! (to see click here)
Hi Lorrie, I own the exact same model and color combo...your car's twin! I also went from a large car that was for the kids, dog, etc... With the kids driving themselves around now, I drive a wonderful Mini! which, fits the dog just fine :)

Yes I think there is actually something in the manual about not allowing SMART cars to pass, they are inherently evil and by allowing them to pass gives you a serious case of the cooties! No thanks..

Welcome to the club! Let them laugh....especially when they fill their gas tanks twice as often as we do...
One thing...we have a secret feud with Smart Cars (at least I do)...never ever under any circumstance get passed by a Smart Car....we have a reputation to uphold.
Cheers!
