Mini Meet West 2012 - Mini Mania Inc.

         Mini Meet West 2012 will take place in Prescott Valley.  Prescott Valley is in Central Arizona and although it is only 90 miles north of Phoenix the average June temperature is 75 to 85 degrees. This is at least 20 degrees cooler than the big city. There are many attractions in the City of Prescott, just 9 miles west, with a lot of quaint shops surrounding the Courthouse Square offering everything from ice cream and pizza to antiques and Birkenstocks. There are lakes for boating and fishing, a Zoo, golf courses and tennis courts, roller skating and bowling. Plenty to keep the rest of family happy while the entrant does “Mini” things. There are even two wineries within easy driving distance.


          The tentative schedule includes early registration after noon on Monday the 18th, the Show & Shine on Tuesday the 19th, Wednesday morning the 20th, the Rally will take you on some of the twistyest roads you could hope to find and through the famous ghost town, Jerome. Thursday will have you testing your driving skills on the Autocross and Funkhana.  That evening, the 21st, we will have our Banquet at the StoneRidge Golf Club.


         The registration form will be available shortly, you will see on there that we have arranged for a three tiered entry level to make sure that those who are unable to bring their mini/MINI can still participate more fully than in the past.


          Our host hotel will be the Hampton Inn & Suites in Prescott Valley. We have arranged special rates for your stay and you can find all details and make your booking by following this link: Hampton Inn at Prescott Valley


Please note that none of our activities (except registration etc.) will take place at the hotel.


            Any club that would like something included in the program binder is invited to send us 200 letter size flyers, we will be happy to insert them. If you would rather we took care of the printing etc. then send us a copy and $20.00 and we’ll take care of it for you.

If commercial people would like to insert something in the program you can send us 200 regular letter size flyers and we will include them for a $25.00 fee or goodie bag or door prize donation, $75.00 if you want to supply us with a copy and have us do the printing etc. We would appreciate any items for goodie bags (200) and for door prizes. In return we will add a link for you on the MMW 2012 website.


The inserts deadline for the binder (instead of a printed program) is May 1st.  There will be very limited opportunities for vendors and it will be necessary to obtain both an Arizona State Sales Tax license and a Town of Prescott Valley permit.

Don’t forget that Arizona does not alter the clocks to Daylight Savings time.  In June we will align with California on Pacific Time.
