I purchased this last year as a project and unfortunately haven’t had the time to dedicate to it. I really want to keep this but I need the garage space for other projects. Cash only, no trades please.
The big stuff:
- Mk1 shell with replaced Mk4 floor
- A+ race engine (see parts below)
- Clean WI title, true 1960 US market LHD Mini
- Custom Cages Heritage roll cage and seat mounts (roll cage documentation is included)
- Wilwood pedal box, stainless brake lines, Retro Sport accelerator pedal, Sparco seats
- Trunk-mounted fuel tank (plastic) with AN lines
This is not a show car! It looks good overall, but don’t expect it to be perfect. There is zero chassis rust (Texas car) but there are some dents and chips on the body.
Engine Parts:
- Note: Engine is not currently running, will cough and sputter but timing needs to be set. Parts list provided by previous owner.
- A+ block with .040 bore (1310? MiniMania only allows 1275 or "Big Bore/1380" so it shows as 1380 here)
- Weber 45 DCOE carb
- JE aluminum flat top pistons and rings
- MED Engineering steel billet crank, race cam (possibly Comptune?)
- MED lightweight steel flywheel, paddle clutch disk
- stock Vanderbilt rod and main bearings, balanced and blueprinted Mini rods, double roller chain timing gear
- Bauchman limited prep head
- Custom built big-bore header, ceramic coated with collector
- close-ratio MED dog gearbox, 3:90 limited-slip rear end
- large oil cooler, crank and valve cover breathers, aluminum roller rockers, all ARP bolts through the engine, etc.
Other parts:
- 3 sets of wheels and tires included (tires should be replaced but can be used for transport)
- 10x6 Revolution racing mags
- 10x5 Minator aluminum wheels
- 10” steelies
- Sump Guard
- Roof Rack project parts (DIY project from previous owner)
Disclaimer: This is intended to be used mostly on a track, and you should inspect everything before buying and driving it. It has been sitting for several years, and is sold as-is.
When I purchased this car, it had a lot of things that needed to be addressed, and I have not had a chance to go through everything. Some examples:
- Wiring should be checked, lights, wipers, and electric fan are currently not functional.
- Oil cooler is connected but needs to be secured with a mounting bracket.
- Fuel lines are connected, but should be secured.
- Interior switches need to be mounted.
- Right rear window is cracked.
