Scoopereman I seem to have not received your email or deleted it without appreciatiting its importance. I'm close to disposing of my OEW wheels at the metal recycler. I looked at them again ...3 are rivetted and one is welded but I siupoose it deosn't matter as a spare. Try my email again.

yes, the rear-to front swap is the obvious, I should have said this one does not have a stock jack and I was hoping for a spare to fit to both ends. Frankly, I am not the greatest fan of those jacks, but yes it is the forehead-slapping solution.
Larry, I did email you a couple of days ago to inquire about your generous offer.

Al...where did you get them? I understand there are some Cooper "repro" wheels out there that actually fit over the outside of the caliper ( maybe those are for 8.4" ), but anyway...would end up sticking out quite a ways.
....or are yours proper reproduction ones?

Regular Mini wheels work fine. If you can't find one I could send you one for the cost of shipping.

Apparently "some" standard (3.5x10) steeleis fit over discs. I've never (sic) found any but others insist its so..
My solution has already been offered. And, using the standard jack, both wheels on one side come off the ground together making this a relatively easy exercise.
On both of my cars the "normal" 165x10 won't fit under the standard boot floor - so you need to carry a space saver spare.
Cheers, Ian

OK so you converted your 10" wheel car to discs, and bolted on your four fancy new 10" mag wheels. Your old wheels that fit over the drums work OK on the rear, but they don't fit over the calipered fronts. What did you do for a spare tire? Inquiring minds want to know. (Don: start buying up old Mini wheels and reworking them for spares duty.)
