Thanks for your guys inputs! This is exactly the info i was looking for. I don't want to do anything to the car that i can take back and the 5 X 12 minilites with the yoko A539s are the tires i purchased with them. I want to be able to run stock height as well and right now its jacked up to reduce the scrub radius which didn't completely fix the problem. As it would turn out another expensive endeavor by going with 13s and not being fully satisfied. Gotta love these cars!
thanks,
John

There is a Sport Pac steering rack made just for 13 inch cars. I have a customer with Sport Pac flares and 13s. His car had a std MK 2 steering rack.We replaced it with the correct rack and raised the car a little and trimmed the front fenders a little more. I make a U turn between shop an ditch running along the pavement behind the shop. Plenty room with a MK 2 rack, almost hit the building first time I drove with Sport Pac rack. I will have to ask but I think he has switched to 12X6 wheels with 165 tires. If you have flares to cover 13 s you need to fill them with the correct width and offset wheel. We also are running the big brakes with four pots. I have spent hours and hours working on the suspension settings for this car. It now responds to small adjustments and will do anything you ask of it. Steve (CTR)

I've finally had it with the 13 inch rims! I love the way they look however I cant take the scrubbing anymore on turns sharp corners. It honestly takes the fun out of spirited driving. I just purchased some original Minilite 5 x 12s however I was wondering how they compare to the Ultralites which I used to have many moons ago. I cant seem to find any info with regards to ET whatever they may be. Before any one asks I would go with 10s but the brakes will not permit that and I don't want to get rid of the 4-pot 8.4s. Also should I be okay with clearance? Has any one used the Minilite 12s on their own rig? Thanks in advance for any info!
