Mike I have a valve in my crap box at the shop I'll dig it out and send it to you for the cost of postage. It's pretty crusty but you said you just need the spring?
Mini's are like buses they come along in a bunch

Current information seems to indicate that only two proportioning valves were made (only difference being the spring) with Mk I/II (and Mk III S) being different from other Mk III Minis. I seem to recall that the S was not the same as other Mk I/II Minis, but I haven't gone digging to confirm.

what have you got?
I actually just need the spring. If anyone can tell me how to measure the compression, and give me the length and diameter.

The diameter of the spring is: .436"
The length is in the 1.342" range.
The wire the spring is wound from is in the 0.065" range.
The disclaimer - the spring I measured had approximately 0.250" removed from one end. So the length is in the range provided. I modified mine to make the adjustable one as now sold.
