Yes, put a zip tie inside the small end. All I have taken apart are strapped that end. Steve (CTR)

Thank you for clarifying. A couple that I had removed had zip ties inside that inverted section.

Does the inner CV (pot joint) rubber boot require any type of clamp inside the inverted (shaft) end? Thanks in advance...
