Hey Mike and Will! I’m sorry I just saw this. I totally forgot to close this thread as I just found out John Alley Bars weren’t used until 1966 on the Works minis If I’m not mistaken. Got the confirmation that CRX90B didnt compete with one. Thanks guys!!!

I have a JD2 tubing bender, but I only have 1.5" and 1.75" bending dies for it. I'd be happy to bend you up a replica, just get me the measurements.

Yeah heard that too about conduit pipes haha. I already contacted Bryan Purves. Just waiting on shipping cost. If it’s going to be too much then I’d hunt for the clamps. I just want to attend a car show with it installed.

It seems I read on the MK 1 board that some Alley bars were assembled with fence gate hardware. I know some clamps have his name cast in. As far as roll bars go the Alley bars go I'm not sure how much protection they offer. I have only watched two minis roll and both rolled with front wings and front roof only touching ground. We taped the screen in one and he made his last auto cross run. I'd think someone would remake them if there were a market. Steve (CTR)
