Pictures taken by Benoit during the loading process. James said he should be in Calgary March 10th in the late afternoon. I'll translate that to mean 3 am he should arrive lol.

I guess realize as well that I dont have registration for the car. Guess the flat bed truck option will be the smartest, until I can get the dealer plate to run it over for its out of province inspection. wish me good luck with that.

Good luck with the registration Kevin. I still have to tackle that   “special” MVI “ for cars never registered
in Canada before too. It’s too far in the distance for me to worry about. BTW- my Mini arrived in the white trailer in the last picture. A lot of people seemed to think I was B S ing about owning a Mini  ( Mike in  NB for
one )when I couldn’t get amy GPS info from James ( NOT A FIRM I WOULD RECOMMEND ).
Chers  beakr, nice looking Mini...please keep us updated,
         Darren.

At least it was just that one tiny piece that is missing paint, the rest of the car looks great.

Got to drive it approx 300 meters and parked it in the garage. Runs like a top so far. Now to wait for the snow to continue to melt and the roads to dry up. I still have at least a foot of hardpacked snow in front of the driveway, and by a foot I mean between 6-9 inches. Then off to get an out of province inspection.

Here it is in the garage. One day when I care enough I might reformat the size to work on the website forum, until then, here are links to 1 drive.

Sorry about the paint, but based on some of the horror transport stories I have heard, that sounds like a successful trip.

Nice Mini Nice garage. Glad it got there safe.
Judging by the amount of shovels you have a snow blower should be your next purchase LOL.

Be cautious with those motorcycle or ATV ramps. Some say they will support 1500 lbs, but that is distributed load - maybe 200lbs per foot x 7.5 feet. The Mini front end probably weighs 800-900 lbs. Use the flatbed.

Hopefully its still daylight when he gets here. Should I find a ramp like at a motorcycle shop to unload this, or get him to get a flat bed truck again? what does the community recommend? Keep in mind that the exhaust right at about the middle of the car sits about 2-3" off the ground.

This is a follow up to Darren’s thread Re: Lethbridge to PEI. Anyways James finally delivered the grey mini on March 3. Long storey short he missed his pickup of the green mini on the 4th.

Huge shoutout to Benoit Lefebvre for helping load the mini, at 12:30 am and finishing the loading at 2 am March 7. He took lots of pictures, he is a remarkable guy and really deserves a big thank you, more than I can give.  James did share his GPS location briefly with me, but that link no longer works. Are we really surprised???

Pictures of the loading gong show to follow when I get back home, and can upload them to my onedrive. Just back in Edmonton right now, so give me a day or two.
