Well Mike , your a nice guy and you don't mind helping people. It's your time and you do what you like with it. Now, I just read the post before this one. A woman is buying a mini. That's wonderful. So you offer her some help. The first thing that comes to mind is,this has happened before. Yes it was a troll. What a waste of time.I have ten close mini friends,not one of them will come on this forum. Each one of them is a trove of insight in every aspect of all things mini. We have been at this for over 50 yrs. I have tried to not read the trolls junk but it's everywhere. I have hit my limit. Cheers

why not just skip over his posts? Like changing the station on the radio when you don't like the music.

Too many people upset by one. No need to fight or discuss more. Just ban him now.

Anyone who has upset so many people on a car forum has to have some serious problems. It seems to me 
that someone who goes by the net name specialist may be the culprit. Two forum members who have helped
me a lot are thinking of leaving this forum because of this specialist. So , specialist, I will not be “ feeding the
trool “ ...meaning I won’t be replying to your posts.

Guy with a big rabbit comes to mind.

Two names come up regularly, one of which is barred & blocked on my FB feed, which means that when isn't-a used one of my pictures as his avatar he must have had access to it because it's a bit of photoshop work.

And yes, he had an engine build by Jemal outside of M-M.

Funny, the thing I remember about thewerewolf (can't remember his original name) was his complete disdain for newbies and while he may not NOW give bad advice he was downright nasty to many back then - and the irony is that he came across as being thin-skinned himself.

Maybe he has mellowed

My take on this..  as  I was BANNED for several years..because I exposed several THIEVES   who were  taking deposits and NOT delivering cars and selling off consignment car and NOT paying the owners..  but was sorted with MM  when it was confirmed that it was not FAKE NEWS...and I was right..all along....  my take on this.... well  if Specialist bothers you.. me thinks you are just THIN SKINNED.. 

Interesting stuff but unfortunately not new, not on this forum, not on all forums; there are always those enjoy pressing themselves against a working clothes washer and who then graduate to rubbing people, usually the wrong way.

I don't mind specialist because he is so obviously deranged that nothing he vomits onto the page is credible - other than the fact that he has 7 degrees - that I do believe .

All we can do is ignore these poor souls and hope that they wither away until all that is left is a stain on that basement carpet.

I assume Tony Pineapple is the same person?

Getting rid of Trollster is like rearranging Titanic deck chairs. This site needs a moderator system to get rid of a bunch of carcasses. This forum & website is dead, time for everyone to move along, I have. If I’m considered a troll n carcass, please toss me. Done. I only come on this site now to watch the show. 

Couldn't agree more! Tony, AKA Specialist, AKA Robster is driving away the knowledgable folks whose patience have run out due to his nonsensical and sometimes downright dangerous posts. I will admit that at times I have found some of his posts humorous, but I fear that a newbie will follow one his his suggested fixes before one of the good guys can jump in and set the newbie straight. 

I have no problem ignoring noise, but I hate to see the really knowledgeable, helpful people leave this site. I have had collector cars for more the 30 years, but I am only 3 years into a classic mini. The information I have gained here cannot be had on the whole from books, but only from people that have spent years working with mini's, and their willingness to share their experience.

I vote for the ban too
