Thank you very much Mike, that’s all great advice, and all stuff that I did not know ( I suspected it might
not wear well on seats, but I’m not interested in that anyway). The 10 inches is great advice , as is the practice on similar but useless material. And I’ll watch a few tube videos.
    Much appreciated Mike ,
      Darren.

vinyl paint is available at your local auto parts stores.  Practice on something else.  Never put the can closer than 10" to your work. Find a youtube video on spraying.  Vinyl if it's on your seats will eventually loose it's elasticity and will crack. On the dash, it should be OK as there's no flexing of the material.

Hi all. I am looking for advice on painting Vinyl. The main two pieces I want to change are the top and
bottom panels of my 3 instrument center binnacle dash. They came in black , but I want them in the fairly
common BLMC grey. Medium grey I suppose it is. The top piece surrounds the binnacle.
I have never tried to paint ( spray ) this vinyl material before, so I know virtually nothing about it. I assume there likely is a good product out there to use, but would ideally like to hear of a few experiences
( good or bad ) and a few brand names too. Good ones named...bad ones named too. I may also wish to
paint the two door bins ( plastic type ) this grey colour. Any and all advice is appreciated, including “ do not
use” if it would be a mistake to attempt this.
     Thanks all,
      Darren.
