Mask the upper edge of the door to avoid getting tears on the top edge of the card.

Thanks all.  I got it out rupturing the masonite but it will be at the bottom.  I too trimmed 3/4" from the bottom peeling back the vinyl first. It's back in now and that's all good.

Talk about stuff not fitting, the new door handles escutcheon pins don't fit the holes on the door skin.  More work.

I got my door cards from Newton and they were too big.  I had to trim them around the hinges.  Installation went easier on my Mk2 Newton cards and my Mk1 Aussie doors by using Armor All or something similar.

Thanks Doug. I'm gonna put a work glove on and if I can get a second person it would help. Gotta bend in in middle to  get it out I know. They're new and pretty ridgid.

Skinny arms.

I know that's not helpful but it always seems to be what I want when removing and installing door cards.

I think Chuck Heleker has a good method of handling this.  If you don't get helpful replies to this thread, ping him.

In my daze I installed one of the door cars upside down.  too many hours on this mini already and I'm losing my mind.

Any thoughts on making the card removal easier?  It was a bear getting it in.

Thanks in advance.
