Couldn't you just paint the Autozone one green?  Or is it not like the original one?

or get a new generator from our host:
new generator  or a rebuilt one.
But with $10.00 difference in price between new and rebuilt I'd go with new.
From the pictures shown it looks like they are black and silver.

Hi All,

Does anyone have a trusted place near Los Angeles where I can take my 1962 Morris Mini's generator to get reconditioned?

My generator died last month, and when I open the hood and see this new black and silver AutoZone part sitting there, all I want to do is throw in the original, slightly rusty part back in.  It just looks wrong right now.

Thanks,
Ryan
