Yes, headlamps switch is on that small panel. dim/dip is on the multifunction switch, the MK II/III turn signal stalk.

Thanks for the reply.  I don't think I'll have any luck saving any of the switches so the hunt is on for those.

Also, there is another pod  to the left of the steering column which has a brake check switch, and seat belt light and a third switch that is totally destroyed.  I am assuming that it is the headlamp switch since I haven't found one anywhere else correct.  Still not sure where the high/low beam switch is if you could point me there......

Wipers, washer pump, hazards, rear defrost.

left to right.

note that all of these are internally illuminated, and controllable by the knob on the steering column. The gauge lights are not dimmed. The lights in the heater control are. If you can save your early hazards switch, they are beautiful but fragile.

Fit relays for the headlamps. The extra wire to put the switch over on that side panel doesn’t help.

My Canadian spec 1000 is getting closer to awaking from it's 30 year sleep .  Most things have been solvable but the dash switches are a bit of a mystery.  If there are any owners of a stock car that could send pictures, that would be great. I've attached some photos of what I've got to work with. I'm not sure what the second one from the left does or what the missing one is. This a 1976 model with heated rear window .
Cheers...corey
