If you can fit the Datsun 5 speed with the conversion plate maybe the Datsun auto uses the same bolt pattern. Only issue i see is it is an old school auto with only 3 speeds.

sfyachting.. I think couple guys here in the Morris Minor club have converted to Datsun B 210s autos and engine.. and they seems to run for EVER and EVER.. later bc

I believe a Ford gearbox is the usual route, but it needs tunnel mods.

Excuse my ignorance please, I am looking for an automatic transmission for a Morris Minor that has a 1275cc engine.  Is there such a thing?  I have used an A15 engine with automatic transmission from a Datsun in the past, however, I am considering buying another Morris Minor Convertible that has a rebuilt 1275cc engine and would like to use that engine if possible, but must have automatic trans.  Thanks for any help.
