Techron is great stuff. For a BINI (BMW MINI), just use that stuff every once in a while. Not really much else you can do other than change the in-tank flter (accessible from under the rear seat through the passenger side cover plate. Driver's side cover plate is the fuel pump side).

Before tossing in chemicals, I'd check the specs on the brand and grade of fuel you use. The name brand companies (like Esso in Canada) have assorted additives to help keep the engine clean. I've never had the need to use injector cleaners on any of my fuel-injected engines.

Hi, I searched the forum for a question on what to get for cleaning fuel injectors, tank and water in lines/tank? (Preventative Maintenance)
2005 Mini .... In the past, for a BMW, I have used a Red Line product or Chevron Techron... I use 93 octane fuel.
Any suggestions?
